Goddess Girls Athena the brain

Goddess Girls Athena the brain

This book is exhilerating! you should read this book!

In the first book of the Goddess Girls series, Athena the brain, Athena finds out that she is a Goddess. She has to go to Mount Olympus academy to learn how to be a Goddess because she has been living in the mortsl world.
Athena realizes she has an enemy as soon as she walks in the school. Athena has to use her brain to face the challenges that come to her in this new place.

I thought it was awesome how the authors used real greek mythology, but put it in a story that kids will actually stay awake for.

I think that all girls second grade and higher would enjoy this book! If you want to check it out click here.

"Princess for Hire the Royal Treatment" Review written by R.T

The Royal Treatment By Lindsey Leavitt

Super phenomenal read! I couldn't put it down! This is a sequel to the wonderful book, Princess for hire, also by Lindsey Leavitt. In that book we find out that Desi, a seventh grader, has Magic Potential which gives her the amazing ability to sub for princesses.
In the Royal Treatment she does the same she also has made it to level two in substituting for princesses. Desi works harder than any other sub because she finds out what the princesses need or want and gives it to them. In the end, Desi finds out more about herself and that she can do anything.
I loved how Lindsey describes the make-up and wardrobe of all the princesses Desi subs for. I recommend the book to all humor-loving girls eight and older. I totally LOVE princess for hire!!!!!!

"Welcome to the ice house" review written By B.T. age 7

Welcome to the ice house
Written by Jane Yolen
Illustrated by Laura Regan

This picture book tells the story of the arctic. It's not really about a house like the one we live in, but the arctic is like a house for snow animals to live in. I chose to read this book because it has lots of snow, ice and animals. Some of the animals in this book are foxes, wolves, lynx, snow hares, moose, polar bears, seals, killer whales, walruses, dolphins, birds, caribou, and bears.

I loved this book! This is a great book for animal lovers. It has lots of great illustrations and details. I learned that there is spring time in the arctic. Before reading this book I thought that the arctic only had winter time.
The only thing I didn't like about this book was all the hard words. I had to get a lot of help on a lot of the pages.

Over all I give this book 3 stars because of all the hard words. You can check it out here.
